How ScrapeX gets its data, how it protects yours and what we ask of you.
We collect business information that is publicly visible: company websites, official registers, maps, public job posts and business pages. We never log in to private accounts and never read private messages.
Each account is a separate workspace. Your leads, searches and exports are visible only to you and the teammates you invite.
Emails and phone numbers are encrypted in our database and shown only inside your own workspace.
Websites are read at a gentle pace and robots rules are respected, so we do not strain the sites we read.
Team roles control who can invite, export or change billing. Sessions expire, and every admin action is logged.
All traffic between you and ScrapeX uses HTTPS. We never see or store your card number: payments go through Square.
You can download your data and delete your account yourself in Settings.
You decide who to contact and why. Follow the email and data protection laws that apply to you. Our Terms and Privacy pages explain the split.
Read the full Privacy policy, the Terms. Enterprise customers can request a data processing agreement and a security review.
Only your workspace. Each account is separate, and contact details are encrypted at rest.
We provide data download and account deletion, name our providers on a Subprocessors page, and offer a data processing agreement on Enterprise. You are responsible for how you use the leads and contact people. This is not legal advice.
We tell affected customers without undue delay and within 72 hours of confirming an incident that puts their personal data at risk, and we notify authorities where the law requires.
